SFC INDONESIA 4TH QUARTER STORM
The last quarter of the year 2000 marked a very busy period for SFC-Jakarta in both Fellowship and Teachings aspects. It was "Business-As-Usual" for the biggest community in the Southeast Asian Region outside of the Philippines. One big event was the Joint Chapter Assembly of CFC-Expatriate Chapter and SFC-Jakarta on October 8. This was primarily a send-off party for the former Family Ministries Couple Coordinators Raul and Lulu de Villa and their kids. The de Villas migrated to Canada. They left Indonesia for good last October 27. The weekend after (October 14), Bobby Mathew led the SFC leaders in a workshop.
Then, there was highlight of the year, the Seasons of Love Broadway Show on December 9, which was a triumphant way to welcome the most important day in Christendom, the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was held at the Jakarta International School Theater. The Charity Drive on December 10 capped the year for SFC-Jakarta in a very positive note
